Meditation

Meditation is a great technique to de stress the mind and body as it activates the parasympathetic nervous system. I use particular sounds and frequencies to help you reach that state. I then practice breathing techniques to reach a meditative state. I also guide meditation by utilising my soothing voice as a tool for relaxation.

Meditation is a great tool to manage stress levels. Focusing the mind on a particular object ( such as sound or guided meditation) , thought or activity – to train your attention and awareness. This would help achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.

I also lead group chanting. Chanting is another tool that de stresses the mind and body. A powerful yet simple method that we could all practise in our lives to manage stress levels. When practised regularly it also helps you achieve a meditative state.
